Don’t miss the arts celebration of the year! The variety of the arts in Georgia’s most diverse county is celebrated during this special night with a reception of heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and a cash bar, with a silent auction and a raffle; followed by an amazing awards show, featuring performers from across Gwinnett, including the Royal Dance Academy, Zephyr Instrumental, Academy Arts, Herman Pennamon, and Aurora Theatre.
Fusion is the Gwinnett arts awards and a fundraiser for ArtWorks! Gwinnett, the non-profit, tax-exempt arts “umbrella” organization serving Gwinnett. ArtWorks! promotes and builds support for arts and culture opportunities to enrich our community. The organization fosters collaborations, presents professional development programs for artists and arts administrators, and markets the arts community to make a positive impact on quality of life in Gwinnett.

Date & time: February 25, 2013, 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

Fusion will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception in the Phillip Beard Ballroom, and move at 7:30  p.m. into the Sylvia Beard Theatre to begin the awards ceremony.

Location: Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theater – Ballroom, Lobby & Sylvia Beard Theater, 2200 Buford Hwy NE, Buford, GA 30518 (Free parking available on site.)

Performers: The ceremony will feature performances by Gwinnett artists, including the Royal Dance Academy, Advocate Arts, Zephyr Instrumental,Herman Pennamon,  and Aurora Theatre.

Lifetime Achievement Award: for an individual who has had a significant, multi-year impact on the arts in Gwinnett. (Last year’s winners: Ann Parsons Odum, Barbara Howard, and Cynthia Sutt)
